Market Research
Many meditation apps on the market have good rates, such as Breethe, Headspace and Calm. All of them are great apps that can help people with sleep problems calm themselves after work with music, nature sounds and storytelling Sleepcats.
Besides Dhyan app is similar in some aspects to the mindfulness apps already in the market, it has features such as quick exercises, guided exercises, and friendly usability that can make our app better for situations where people don’t have much time to relax and breathe and then go back to work.

Design Choice
For the Dhyan app, we chose light pastel colours that evoke calmness and relaxing vibes.
Like the icons used on the app, the logo has Line Art, similar to doodling when you are stressed and want to relax your mind.
Dhyan means “contemplation,” “reflection,” and profound meditation, a word originally from Hinduism. The Magnies font unconsciously brings familiarity to the culture originally from India and other countries that have Hinduism as one of the pillars of the society.
